Returns outline

If goods are faulty you may exchange your purchases or return them for a refund. Refunds and exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipted delivery.

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we will gladly exchange the items for a store credit.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on earrings in order to ensure that hygiene standards are maintained.
 
If you require a refund you will be given a full refund minus shipping and handling charges. If you require an exchange you will be responsible for all extra shipping costs incurred.

Items that have been worn, damaged, and/or altered will not be refunded or exchanged. We will only accept returns on items that are in their original packaging and have not been worn.

Our first priority is to ensure that you have a pleasant experience shopping with us at The Bling Society. Should you be unhappy please email us within 14 days of purchase at returns@theblingsociety.com and we will do all we can to address your concerns.

Returns Policy

Policy

Trade Practices Act 1974 provides the basis for the Bling Society returns policy. For a product to be returned under our policy, that product must be in a resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective.

Trade Practices Act 1974

The Trade Practices Act 1974 sets out minimum standards for goods sold by the Bling Society. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

The Trade Practices Act 1974 is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of Australian safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission enforces the Trade Practices Act 1974.

Procedures

There are three options available for our customers who would like to return a product -

  1. Exchange
    If a product is unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one (i.e. a different size or colour etc) or another product of the same value. Proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange.
    Please note, as mentioned above, products returned or exchanged must be in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc returned with the item, also exchanges are not available on earrings or sale items, except where the product is deemed faulty.
  2. Money Back Guarantee
    Our money back guarantee is a key aspect of our business. If a customer has proof that they purchased the goods from our website and providing we cannot repair or replace the item, they may obtain a refund if the goods are returned within 7 days.
    A refund will be made in the same tender as the original purchase. Please note, that products returned must be in resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise deficient - the money back guarantee does not apply to earrings or sale items, except where the product is deemed faulty.
  3. Credit Note
    The issuing of credit notes provides an alternative to a refund or exchange. These credit notes can be used to purchase anything from the Bling Society online store. Credit notes can not be exchanged for cash and will not be generated for amounts less than $10.00
